He Runs, I Cook

First of all, May has been a very exciting month already.

On the cookie front, Dorie’s Cookies continues to deliver. My Newest Chocolate Chip Cookies (well, not mine but hers, but also sort of mine) were AMAZING! And also her Cast-Iron Pan Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars which are the basis for her Multi-Mix-In Chocolate Chip Cookies were DELISH! Again 10/10- no notes! I just don’t know what to top them with– honestly, everything from her cookbook has been YUM!

Secondly, I have a new job. I start on Monday. After 7 months of holiday, I’m slightly apprehensive about working again. I mean I don’t really have a lot of choices in the matter, eventually it was going to happen but it’s very daunting to think about going back to reality in a few days.

Thirdly, my Millionaire Hot Seat episode finally aired…. and I won! Not quite a million dollars, but $50,000. Which I’m pretty happy with, it was a fab experience and winning was the icing on the cake!!!!

So yeah, cookies are good, I have a job and not quite a million dollars!
