Happy February! Today was a fantastic way to start the month. The Runner did a VO2 Max/Lactate Threshold test and is busy analysing his results. He is exceptionally pleased with them and now is just trying to work out how to use them to improve his training. Husky Long Course is a mere three weeks…

It’s the 31st, so you know what that means!!!!!
Today is jan 31. Which means that officially my 30 day vegetarian challenge is over. (The Runner and I did briefly question whether it was a month long challenge or a 30 day challenge- obviously this will become important in February- the shortest month of the year) Anyway, officially it’s over and to be honest…

Melbourne and focus
So if I’ve been a bit quiet lately it’s because The Mom has put the hard word on me and has forced me to get off Pinterest and actually start thinking about the wedding. Turkey tetrazzini aka turkey pasta bake! Pretty simple and reminds me of my grandmother but can’t put my finger on why! I googled a recipe, there are quite a few out there! Enjoy!

What to do with leftover turkey….
We’re experimenting with homemade flour tortillas from Mexican Craving, a new cookbook from Masterchef contestant Ben Milbourne, and leftover turkey in a chili chocolatey sauce with black beans on the side. Fingers crossed it will be edible- but if it’s not, there is still lots of ham in the fridge!!!
