Our baby isn’t a baby anymore

I realised how long I’ve been writing this blog when I saw my pregnancy announcement. How have 10 years passed in the blink of an eye. The literal blink of an eye.

The baby who we bought tiny Converse for nearly 10 years ago, now has feet that are nearly as big as mine. The little outline that we were so excited to see on the ultrasound is now all arms, legs, and sprawl on the couch.

It feels like just yesterday I was rubbing my belly waiting for him to arrive, and now he’s the one hurrying me when we’re trying to leave the house. Time is funny. Life is funny. It moves quickly, until one day you wake up and realise all the things you were hoping for and wishing for and waiting for are real- and that if you don’t stop and take notice, you’ll miss it all.
